Harry Potter will win something, not sure what. And I reckon Lord Of The Rings will win some kinda award for graphics and if there's an award for it, best adaptation of novel - although that may clash with Harry Potter. But if thats so, i reckon LOTR would win.

Harry Potter in the run for the best special effects? We've had an argument about that in another thread. The result was:

moulin rouge must win graphics, i mean the story was rubbish, but the look of it was really good... i would also think Lord Of The T will win somin, hopefully, even though ive not seen it... but hope these films dont get anything Pearl Harbour - American, egotistical, crappy, pish/poo! Harry Potter - kitchy, 1950's american idea of what britian is like... bollocks!
i really dont like the OSCARS - they are generally not a true reflection of good movies....

I love the Oscars. I watch them every year, jeer at the host, guess the winners and decide who REALLY should have been nominated. I host a party every year at Oscar time, its just a shame that no one comes...

for me the oscars lost its appeal that year titanic won everything!?!?... nicole kiidman will win something purely for the fact she hasnt withered away and died after breaking up with tom cruise..... a lot of people talking about ali with will smith... i would have to see it to believe it.
